Welcome to Butternut Ridge Farm, a 280 acre farm in Iowa. Nestled on a river bluff, high atop the Mississippi river, Butternut Ridge Farm is a true survivor from the golden era of agriculture. These pages tell the story of my farm, which is a typical example of the diversified farms found in Iowa in the 1940’s and 1950’s.
